My Writing Assignments Aren't Writing Papers For MeI have heard this a lot: 'Write papers for me and my class.' So, what exactly does this mean? I imagine it's something similar to saying: 'Can you help me with the assignment?' Or: 'Can you do this work for me?'Then, there's the paper. While it may sound too simplistic, it is important to give your students that academic paper you have been planning for weeks. At the same time, however, keep in mind that students have a desire to keep up with the pace of life. If your writing assignments are not timely, they will most likely notice. Therefore, if you put off writing papers for me, then you will most likely see a writing slump or fizz.Don't put off the writing of papers for me. Write the papers, write the sentences, write the citations. As far as citations go, if you have some decent references available, make sure you include them. There is a difference between being qualified when it comes to quotations. Just because someone uses qu otation marks around their work doesn't mean you can use them at the end of your own.The next thing to consider is the preparation. Do you want an intensive or an 'on-demand' writing assignment? This is something that can be customized for you based on your personal preference. For instance, if you know a certain class well, you might opt for an intensive class schedule. However, if you don't have a class to prepare for, or you just prefer a 'normal' class schedule, you could opt for on-demand.In terms of writing assignments, you can also tweak it to fit your student's learning style. For example, some students need more notes on the body, while others need to take notes on the top of the paper. You can adjust your writing assignments based on how your student works. Keep in mind that different students do work differently. For example, one student might use calculators while another might be more verbal.Some students, if not all, study strategies as they write. If you work with you r student, you can create a formula that he can follow. For example, if he writes that he'll be attending the session tomorrow, but he still doesn't attend, you can find out what study strategies his friend uses and then implement that formula into his work.In closing, writing papers for me is not a simple task. It can get tedious. However, if you keep your students involved and encourage them to collaborate, you can benefit from such task and make a big difference in your student's academic success.
